The documentation states: "This mode permits conversions that do not require truncation or other special handling of the source value; that is, it permits conversions where the target type has a wider range than the source type. Setting this mode has no bearing on whether lossy conversions are permitted; this is controlled with the ALL_LOSSY mode. If only ALL_NON_LOSSY is set, but not ALL_LOSSY, then attempting a conversion that would result in the loss of data (such as INT to TINYINT, or CHAR(25) to VARCHAR(20)) causes the slave to stop with an error." This adds it to a bunch of large wikis. The next stage would be everything but commons, followed by all wikis. The stage after that would be to change it from report-only to be enforcing. Hiera data for codfw has the codfw elastic cluster listed first and eqiad has the eqiad cluster listed first, this way reads will prefer to go to the same data center as the phab server and writes will go to both to keep both indexes updated. 10e5241 Moritz Muehlenhoff 21 March 2017, 15:11:05 UTC Harmonise group type for LDAP admin access The "Directory Managers" group in LDAP was inherited from OpenDJ. It grants full write access to OpenLDAP via ACLs (in addition to the cn=admin user). It's however a different group type compared to all other groups in LDAP (groupOfUniqueNames as compared to the default groupOfNames). Thus the membership attribute is also different. This is the only occurance of groupOfUniqueNames in our entire LDAP directory. In order to avoid special casing that group in the new offboarding script for LDAP groups (and probably other places where it was missed before) I have created a new group cn=ldap_ops,ou=groups,dc=wikimedia,dc=org and added the previous members of the Directory Managers group to it. This also avoids the ugly whitespace in the groupname... This patch adapts the slapd ACLs, so that "Directory Managers" can eventually be removed. In puppet-lint 2 there is a new check for lines over 140 chars besides the existing one for lines over 80 chars. puppet-lint got bumped to 2.0.2 by 74a3d73d4f So far we said "won't fix" to the "over 80" check, with a comment of "we want at least 100", now the question is what we say to 140 as the limit. This patch will allow fr-tech to stop using a fork of -buildkit. Mcrypt is deprecated in PHP 7, so we'll see what the Civi folks are planning around that. f545de3 Alexandros Kosiaris 16 March 2017, 11:04:53 UTC redis: Increase the hard limit for slave output buffer As per T159850, we want to increase the hard limit for slaves connecting to a redis master to 2G instead of the current 512MB as some of our .rdb files are larger than 512MB. The 2GB size was chosen arbitrarily as being larger by > 50% than the usual .rbd files.
