4aa57ab Bug 1886175 - Properly count urlbar hidden exposures whose hypothetical rows can't immediately be shown. r=mak, wstuckey a=dsmith The problem has to do with hidden exposures whose hypothetical rows can't immediately be made visible either because they would overflow the filled-up view or because a misplaced result was seen. The relevant part of `#updateResults()` is [here](https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/6a2a2a52d7e544a2fd5678d04991a7e78b694f22/browser/components/urlbar/UrlbarView.sys.mjs#1289-1291). When `canBeVisible` is false, we effectively forget about that hidden-exposure result, which is not right. For normal results, we also have that `canBeVisible` logic (a few lines down from the part I linked), but the difference is that we create a hidden row for them and then unhide the row when the query finishes and stale rows are removed. We're missing an analog to that logic for hidden-exposure results, so we're undercounting them. Fortunately it's not too hard to fix. I added a new kind of exposure for `TelemetryEvent` to track called "tentative" exposures. Tentative exposures are entirely analogous to this case where a row would be added but hidden, and then unhidden when stale rows are removed. While I was modifying the test, I rephrased the comments for existing tasks so hopefully they're easier to understand. ebaf186 Bug 1870499 - Make sure ContinueDoNotifyListener is called immediately during release a=diannaS The causes of the runnable loop are as follows: 1. In Release we have a special case to make sure OnStart&OnStop are always called. We do this by dispatching a runnable that calls DoNotifyListener. 2. DoNotifyListener is called, then the reference to the channel is again dropped. But at this point only OnStartRequest was called, and ContinueDoNotifyListener was added to mEventQ. That means another runnable would be dispatched. While the loop was broken in the previous patch, we still want to ensure OnStopRequest is called before the channel is released, so this patch adds an argument to DoNotifyListener to select whether ContinueDoNotifyListener should be called synchronously or dispatched to mEventQ. This issue was precenting from webdriver from starting and the permission issue was caused by running a taskcluster-worker as system daemon vs. a per-user launch agent. 3f64dda Bug 1881906 - Make `HTMLEditUtils` treat `
` elements always inline r=m_kato, a=dsmith As far as I've tested, `
` element is always treated as usual even if its `display` is set to anything except `none`. Therefore, preceding collapsible white-spaces and `
` element should be treated as visible even if the following `
` element is `display:block` or something. Note that if `display:none` is specified, we should not treat it as a line break, but our editor cannot work properly in the case and `HTMLEditUtils` currently uses the default style of HTML elements if `display:none` is specified. Therefore, this patch makes `HTMLEditUtils` always treat `
` as inline. Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D203403 05 March 2024, 11:47:04 UTC

094bdac Bug 1879676 avfft: avoid overreads with RDFT API users a=pascalc The new API requires an extra array member at the very end, which old API users did not do. This disables in-place RDFT transforms and instead does the transform out of place by copying once, there shouldn't be a significant loss of speed as our in-place FFT requires a reorder which is likely more expensive in the majority of cases to do. We actually already check if we need to add `ShrinkWrap` in grid item's final reflow [2], but we were missing the same logic in `MeasuringReflow()`. This patch adds that. 833d792 Bug 1882828 - Ensure hard-coded batched texture uploads enabled state does not get overridden by pref. a=diannaS Batched texture uploads are supposed to be hard-coded as enabled or disabled on certain platforms, and on other platforms controllable via a pref. However, a previous refactoring made it so that the hard-coded value is always being overridden by the pref (by checking whether the hard-coded value is set in the wrong place). As a consequence, batched texture uploads have been disabled on Mali-G devices, resulting in poor performance.
