Revision 4861da4feebe548a749c7f52c89a325839c3d281 authored by Magnus Damm on 10 August 2011, 05:45:30 UTC, committed by Paul Mundt on 29 August 2011, 07:13:10 UTC
This patch removes support for the SGX interrupt source in the sh7372 INTCS controller. The SGX hardware block included in sh7372 is already hooked up to the ARM Cortex-A8 core using the INTCA controller, so SGX users are encouraged to make use of that interrupt source instead. Removing support for the SGX interrupt source in INTCS simplifies the sh7372 power management code by allowing us to assume that only INTCA needs to be powered on to operate the SGX hardware. If the INTCS interrupt source would be kept then the kernel would be forced to deal with additional dependencies that does not follow the regular power domain hiearachy. With this patch in place we can safely power down INTCS while the SGX is operating. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

help
This option enables tracing of dynamically allocated kernel memory
to see if memory is used before it has been given an initial value.
Be aware that this requires half of your memory for bookkeeping and
will insert extra code at *every* read and write to tracked memory
thus slow down the kernel code (but user code is unaffected).
The kernel may be started with kmemcheck=0 or kmemcheck=1 to disable
or enable kmemcheck at boot-time. If the kernel is started with
kmemcheck=0, the large memory and CPU overhead is not incurred.

Select the maximum number of errors to store in the queue. Since
errors can occur virtually anywhere and in any context, we need a

other faults. The queue will be emptied as soon as a tasklet may
be scheduled. If the queue is full, new error reports will be
lost.

This option works around certain GCC optimizations that produce

This may also hide some real bugs.
