f9ee769 New presentation start tests that trigger a mixed content error (#3590) * New start presentation tests that trigger a mixed content error The tests need to run over HTTPS, hence the ".https.html" extension. They create a PresentationRequest with an HTTP URL and ensure that "start" reports a SecurityError exception. * Disable button once clicked and use document.title for test name The tests are semi-manual and the test harness gets confused if the button gets clicked more than once. Disabling the button ensures the user will only run the test once. Also, since the page only contains one test, it is good practice to use the title of the page to convey the name of the test. * New mixed content tests for Presentation API The tests check "reconnect" and "getAvailability" mixed content steps. 29 August 2016, 17:28:06 UTC

0b35fdb Don't assume that all videos start at 0. The tests incorrectly assume that all videos start at 0. However this is often not the case, in particular for the mp4 files. The buffered range is the intersection of the audio track and the video track. As such, if the video track starts at a later time than 0, the buffered range of the source buffer can't be starting at 0. Rather than using different videos, we properly use the correct values; this is done to ensure that buffered range are calculated correctly, regardless of the video content. timestamps verify with mkvinfo utility for webm and ffprobe for mp4. 20c994f don't assume playback won't be finished by the time the seeked event is fired. The data added in the sourcebuffer is very short (less than one second); it is possible that playback has completed prior the event being fired. 28ad552 Do not assume that currentTime is still at seeking position when seeking event is fired. The seeking attribute is changed synchronously, however, the seeking event is fired asynchronously. It is possible that by the time the seeking event is fired, the seeking operation has already completed and that the "time marches on", causing currentTime to be past the seeking position. 7922f2b Don't place cursor after invisible break; If the user tries to insert text without moving the cursor, the invisible break will become visible, which from the user's perspective means an extra line break was inserted for no reason. The IsVisBreak change here is a bit scary, because it may result in unexpected behavior changes, but it seems to improve correctness. If it turns out to cause problems, it can be added as a special case to GetGoodSelPointForNode instead. 8d355ab Add tests for calculating animation effect phases; This test overlaps somewhat with the tests in web-animations/timing-model/animation-effects/simple-iteration-progress.html. However, these tests are more specific to just covering the phase calculation algorithm. Ultimately the tests in simple-iteration-progress.html should be broken down into separate tests for the different algorithms being tested. There is also some redundancy in these tests. For example, instead of writing: .forEach(function(test) { assert_phase_at_time(animation, test.phase, test.currentTime); }); we could just define an assert_phases_at_times function that takes the array of test cases and iterates over them. However, I think writing the test like this makes it easier to read since it requires less imagination about what assert_phases_at_times might be doing. One concern is that this test requires the setter for AnimationEffectTiming.fill to be implemented. We could rewrite this to create a new animation with the appropriate fill mode each time but I think this is probably ok. 98c8d5c Update webref MSE tests according to updated spec. See w3c/MSE Issue 19, 20 & 26. Changing the duration now can never call the range removal algorithm. a528bf5 Do not use timer when there's only one callback pending. It is invalid to assume that no other actions can be performed between the time setTimout is called with a timeout value of 0 and the task actually runs. This causes events to be regularly missed. ac5ec11 Correct mediasource-duration.html - The WebM file manifest correctly indicates the duration as reported in the metadata. However, the last frame has an end time 0f 6.05s which would adjust the duration. As such it is incorrect to assume that after a full appendBuffer the duration will remain the same as set in the metadata. (source: https://w3c.github.io/media-source/index.html#sourcebuffer-coded-frame-processing "5. If the media segment contains data beyond the current duration, then run the duration change algorithm with new duration set to the maximum of the current duration and the group end timestamp") - When setting the duration, the actual final duration may be different to what was set as it will be aligned to the highest end time (source: https://w3c.github.io/media-source/index.html#duration-change-algorithm ("4.1 Update new duration to the highest end time reported by the buffered attribute across all SourceBuffer objects in sourceBuffers.") e432468 Don't assume all segments audio and video track start at the same time point. Audio track and video tracks have under most cases a different start and end time. Additionally, the mp4 file is poorly muxed and contains out of order frames. As such we keep a table of time and duration for each media segments. The test itself was right, however it had an invalid time table to start with as it incorrectly used the dts (decode timestamp) instead of the pts (presentation timestamp).
