5216b87 | M. J. Fromberger | 13 October 2021, 23:37:50 UTC | Revert temporary patch to buf.yaml. (#7122) This patch was needed to pass the buf breakage check for the proto file removed in #7121, but now that master contains the change we no longer need the patch. | 09 November 2022, 15:31:53 UTC |
58b5209 | M. J. Fromberger | 13 October 2021, 22:01:01 UTC | rpc: Remove the deprecated gRPC interface to the RPC service (#7121) This change removes the partial gRPC interface to the RPC service, which was deprecated in resolution of #6718. Details: - rpc: Remove the client and server interfaces and proto definitions. - Remove the gRPC settings from the config library. - Remove gRPC setup for the RPC service in the node startup. - Fix various test helpers to remove gRPC bits. - Remove the --rpc.grpc-laddr flag from the CLI. Note that to satisfy the protobuf interface check, this change also includes a temporary edit to buf.yaml, that I will revert after this is merged. | 09 November 2022, 15:31:29 UTC |

Improve result section * 1st version of how to run the 'rotating node' testnet * Apply suggestions from @williambanfield Co-authored-by: William Banfield <4561443+williambanfield@users.noreply.github.com> * Addressed @williambanfield's comments * Added reference to Unix load metric * Added total TXs * Fixed some 'png's that got swapped. Instead, setting the options
stale-issue-message
and
stale-pr-message
will be enough to let the stale workflow add a comment. If the options are unset, a comment will not be added which was the equivalent of setting
skip-stale-issue-message
to
true
.

The
operations-per-run
option will be more effective. After migrating, you could face a failed-fast process workflow if you let the default value (30) or set it to a small number. In that case, you will see a warning at the end of the logs (if enabled) indicating that the workflow was stopped sooner to avoid consuming too much API calls. In most cases, you can just increase this limit to make sure to process everything in a single run.

</details> <details>
Commits

3de2653
Update changelog for v6.0.0 (#829)

02e44c8
fix(options)!: Make
not_planned
the default
close-issue-reason
(#807)

See full diff in compare view

</details>
[![Dependabot compatibility score](https://dependabot-badges.githubapp.com/badges/compatibility_score?dependency-name=actions/stale&package-manager=github_actions&previous-version=5&new-version=6)](https://docs.github.com/en/github/managing-security-vulnerabilities/about-dependabot-security-updates#about-compatibility-scores) Dependabot will resolve any conflicts with this PR as long as you don't alter it yourself. 10f3626 | Thane Thomson | 13 September 2022, 20:46:34 UTC | ci: Only allow automated security-related updates until v0.37.0 release (#9430) As per discussion with @sergio-mena, this should disable all automated dependency updates that are not security-related. We should make this part of our standard practice when cutting new major releases, given that our QA process for major releases is expensive at present and we cannot re-run it for every dependency update. Once we have cut a final major release, we can consider re-enabling automated dependency updates here that can be rolled out in minor releases. e80dd00 | mmsqe | 13 September 2022, 08:42:14 UTC | backport: performance improvements for the event query API (#7319) (#9334) * Performance improvements for the event query API (#7319) Rework the implementation of event query parsing and execution to improve performance and reduce memory usage. Previous memory and CPU profiles of the pubsub service showed query processing as a significant hotspot. While we don't have evidence that this is visibly hurting users, fixing it is fairly easy and self-contained. Updates #6439.
