      make checkout-index '-a' flag saner.

      whatchanged: document -m option from git-diff-tree.
      Functions to quote and unquote pathnames in C-style.
      Update git-apply to use C-style quoting for funny pathnames.
      Do not quote SP.
      git-checkout-index: documentation updates.
