FIXME_NOW
Methods for assigning multiple children to a node via [<-.
[done] When we have a dummy namespace, and then fix this up in fix...Namespace
make certain to fix the attributes too.
See tests/nsAttributes.R
library(Sxslt); library(XML)
rc = newXMLNode("r:code", namespaceDefinitions = c(r = 'http://www.r-project.org'))
z = getTemplate("~/Books/XMLTechnologies/fo.xsl", rc)
- crashed in an R session. Did a previous getTemplate() before this.
Looks like the finalizer.
[done] getNodeSet now failing if it returns nothing.
getDefaultNamespace()
Is it just xmlParseDoc() - NO!
txt = '<?xml version="1.0"?>
<article xmlns="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook">
<section xmlns="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook">
<title xmlns="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook">Name Spaces in <xml/></title>
<para xmlns="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook">
Name spaces in <xml/> can appear complicated, but are
quite simple.
</para>
</section>
</article>'
doc = xmlParseDoc(txt, NSCLEAN | NOBLANKS | COMPACT)
x = getNodeSet(doc, "//x:xml", c("x" = "http://docbook.org/ns/docbook"))

node = newXMLNode("root")
xmlParent(node) = doc
[Done] node = newXMLNode("top", newXMLNode("abc"), newXMLNode("def"))
node[[1]] = newXMLNode("xyz")
should overwrite any existing first child.
[done] newHTMLDoc("html4/strict")
gc() # crash
add encoding for newXMLDoc() and then set it with htmlSetMetaEncoding.
Does this make sense?
Make doc = newHTMLDoc("5") create <!DOCTYPE html>
[Still problems with some of the KML includes (was Done) ] doc = xmlParse('book.xml')
getNodeLocation(getNodeSet(doc, "//rdocbook")[[1]])
# this is wrong. ParseXML/ParseXML/XPathNamespaces.xml
# why the two XMLParse/.../
[done] SOAP/chemspiderExample.Rdb example
segfaults because of fixing namespaces.
Perhaps fixed now. Sat Jun 30th, 16:48
SOAP/chemspiderExample.Rdb example
GetDatabases() returns NULL, but the content is there.
So in the conversion.
