c15a8cc Don't use qt_mac_get_fixed_pitch() to resolve fixed pitch fonts on OSX The call was resulting in inifinite recursion on OSX 10.9 when Qt was built against the 10.7 SDK, as qt_mac_get_fixed_pitch uses QFontMetrics to resolve the pitch, and we would end up in the font resolver again when asking for the metrics. The CoreText font-database already takes care of resolving whether or not a font family is fixed-pitch, so the code is likely a leftover from the ATSUI-days, and can be removed. 05ddae1 Android: Fix orientation change on Android 4.3 In Android 4.3, we will get a new native window pointer for the same surface (the old surface has not been destroyed), whereas before we would get the same pointer, thus hitting the "sameNativeWindow" branch. This revealed some bugs in the surfaceChanged code path when the old surface had not been destroyed. This path is now taken both when there's no old surface (the app has been suspended in the mean time) and when the orientation changes. To handle the second case, we need to make sure: 1. We update the static pointer 2. We update the pointers in the platform windows 3. We don't add a second reference to the static data for windows 4. We schedule an update of the window size Task-number: QTBUG-32878 Change-Id: I47257615f9ba820315fc98d7a804e52223f430bf Reviewed-by: Christian Stromme <christian.stromme@digia.com> Reviewed-by: Frederik Gladhorn <frederik.gladhorn@digia.com> 19 August 2013, 14:52:21 UTC

674e794 Fix incomplete override of QIODevice::open in QProcess and QLocalSocket The rule for a new override is that it must still work if the old implementation is called. The catch is that any class that derives from QProcess and isn't recompiled will still have QIODevice::open in its virtual table. That is equivalent to overriding open() and calling QIODevice::open() (like the tests). In Qt 5.0, QProcess::start() called QIODevice::open directly, not the virtual open(), so there's no expectation that a user-overridden open() be called. With that in mind, simply fix QProcess::start to not call the virtual open at all. Similarly with QLocalSocket, the calls to open were always non-virtual. Currently, calling QGraphicsScene::items(QPointF(0, 0), Qt::IntersectsItemBoundingRect) or QGraphicsScene::items(QPointF(0, 0), Qt::ContainsItemBoundingRect) will exclude items whose shape does not contain QPointF(0, 0). This is because QGraphicsSceneIndexPointIntersector::intersect() also checks if the point is contained within the shape, instead of just checking if it is contained within the bounding rect. 5cab14b Correct algorithm for digest auth when using the CONNECT verb QHttpSocketEngine fails to authenticate to an HTTP proxy that is using Digest authentication and the CONNECT method (i.e. when you are tunneling TLS over HTTP). The bug is due to a bad parameter being passed to QAuthenticatorPrivate::calculateResponse - the requestMethod parameter is passed in as "CONNECT " instead of "CONNECT" (note the trailing space). Because an MD5 hash is derived from this method when using the qop="auth" flavor of Digest auth, the hash does not match the expected value and authentication always fails in this configuration. c64d602 Accept defeat when select(2)ing without a monotonic clock We prefer to use the monotonic clock because it's never affected by time jumps (such as the user changing the date, or the system adjusting for any other reasons, including automatic leap seconds). But if a system doesn't have a monotonic clock, we simply accept the regular, real time clock and hope it doesn't jump. This is better than the current code that never restarts a call. The side-effect is that a 30-second select may become a 3630-second select if someone sets the clock back one hour.
